Apply a base coat on your nail and cure it under a UV/LED lamp until it is completely dry. Then, apply any color gel polish—preferably black, as a black background usually works best for chrome powder—and cure it under the UV/LED lamp for 60 to 120 seconds until fully dry. Next, apply a no-wipe top coat; this step is crucial for achieving the mirror effect. It must be a no-wipe top coat—other types will not work. Cure it under the UV/LED lamp for 10 to 20 seconds, depending on the power of your lamp. If it’s over-cured, the powder will be hard to apply; if under-cured, the mirror effect won’t form. You may need to experiment a few times to get the best result. Using the cotton swab provided, take a small amount of chrome powder and rub it onto the nail surface until the color is evenly and completely covered. Finally, apply a top coat and cure it under the UV/LED lamp until it’s fully dry. You’re finished!
